Tiramisu
This twist on Tiramisu layers soft coffee-soaked cake with light, fluffy cream for a simpler take on the classic dessert. Topped with a dusting of cocoa powder, it delivers the rich, coffee flavour you love.
Ingredients:
For the cake:
- Chocolate cake mix from Foster Clark’s
- 1 shot espresso (or any other coffee)
For the chocolate sauce:
- 1 cup chocolate milk
- ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 2 shots espresso (or any other coffee)
For the cream:
- 1 cup whipped cream from Foster Clark’s
- 6 pieces of cream cheese
- ¼ cup powdered sugar
- 1 shot espresso (or any other coffee)
- Cocoa powder from Foster Clark’s for decoration.
Preparation:
- 1. Prepare the cake following the instructions on the pack, then allow it to cool completely.
- 2. Mix the chocolate sauce ingredients and bring them to a boil.
- 3. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and the chopped cherries into the cake batter.
- 4. Beat the cheese until smooth, then mix in the cream, sugar, and coffee.
- 5. Spread the cream mixture over the cake and dust with cocoa powder.
- 6. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
