Awamah
A creamy Middle Eastern milk pudding, flavoured with rose or orange blossom water, and topped with crushed pistachios. This light, silky dessert is perfect for a sweet, refreshing treat.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups dumpling mix from Foster Clark’s
- 500ml warm water (40℃)
- Oil for frying
For the syrup:
- Equal parts sugar and water
Optional flavours:
- 2-3 cloves of cardamom
- 1 Tbsp rose water
Preparation:
- 1. Prepare dumpling mix as instructed on the pack
- 2. Use spoon to scoop dough into boiling oil.
- 3. Fry until golden.
- 4. Add to plate and pour syrup.
